Here’s a little preview of the Artwork for the forthcoming Acoustic EP which will be available from January 31st (first date of my Acoustic UK tour).
Some video previews coming soon so you can hear a little of what we did at Abbey Road. It was a good day, a really good day.
Looking forward to hitting the road and playing it live for you all as well as some tunes from my past albums and anything else that comes into my head…
Had a great day at Abbey Road recording my brand new Acoustic EP.
There was one day off this month to get it done so I flew back from the Ten Years After Tour that i’m currently on to record the album live in a day.
It came out great.
There are six new songs that have never been heard before written over the past year in different places round the world about the many things that have happened to me (and probably you too) over the last year…
It’ll be available from the first date of the forthcoming UK tour – January 31st
All dates can be found on the website.
So as the curtain of 2014 has lowered itself down on to our lives and we all have that desperate freak out to try and work out what we did last year. Then ultimately abandon that thought and reach for the nearest bottle of anything with the feint plan of lunging at the nearest friendly face on the stroke of midnight… (Maybe I’ve said to much)
I wanted to say that this year has been one of the most enjoyable years I can remember since I was 16 (no offence to this year but lets face it being 16 was pretty damn fun).
I’ve had the pleasure of playing with some of my musical heroes, collaborating and recording with so many great musicians, old friends & new friends and touring in places I never though I’d see.
It’s been hard work but it’s been far too enjoyable to even notice how tired I got and to be honest it’s a small price to pay to get to have this incredible experiences day after day, night after night.
Above everything else tho I want to reserve the biggest thankyou to all of you.
You are the people that come to see me play over and over again, support me, encourage me, challenge me to be better and generally give me a really good reason to do what I do.
I am so appreciative of each and everyone one of you for your constant support and I promise you I’ve got one hell of a 2015 planned for us all if you’ll join me for another…
Much love and happiness to you all for the forthcoming year and i’m lookin forward to playing for you all again and catching up with you all on my travels.
I’m really happy to announce both a new tour and new exclusive album release.
I’ll be hitting the road from January through till March for a solo tour of the U.K.
There will also be an exclusive brand new solo record that will only be available to buy at the shows so get your tickets and I’ll see you there…
The guitars are all packed up and ready to go. A big thanks to Jon at Scott Dixon Cases for making me this beast. First outing with it to Holland tomorrow for Blues in Almere Festival and then we see how it does on an aeroplane as we go to Spain on Monday.
Hopefully see some of you on our upcoming travels
To celebrate winning the Best Acoustic Performer for the second year running at this years British Blues Awards (thanks again to everyone who made that happen).
I will be doing a solo acoustic tour early next year (2015) and will also use it to preview new material from my next record due out next year.
We got alot of dates booked in already but if there’s somewhere you’d like me to be or a venue you’d like me to play or any venues out there reading this interested in booking me get in touch with Tom firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll hopefully be able to make this happen. I’d like to come see as many of you as I physically can…
In the meantime I’m doin a short tour of the UK with my band this November so hopefully see you there..
