The fantastic Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes (one of the hippest places i’ve been to in London) is starting a twice weekly blues night every 2nd Thursday of the month.

The house band are The Whiskey Mules featuring myself & Paddy Milner, with Scott Wiber and Alex Reeves on bass & drums. Each month there will be a special guest appearing with us and we got some real great guests lined up…
The first night (25th August) sees us joined by The Coalminers. Great friends of mine and a real killin New Orleans inspired band containing some of the finest musicians i’ve ever had the pleasure of playing with. It’s shaping up to be a great night.

Anywhere you can listen to the blues, eat a massive cheese burger and bowl a few frames without havin to get on a plane and cross the Atlantic is a good place in my book and thats exactly what Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes is.

Thankyou so much to everyone who voted for me in the British Blues Awards, they will announce the results at The Newark Blues Festival on 11th September so here’s hoping…
If i win it will be all down to you lovely people but it was an honour just to be nominated and mentioned alongside some real great musicians.

There is another award that can be voted for too and i would very much appreciate it if you’d do this also. Also i am very happy to announce that i am going to be supporting the great Danny & The Champions of the World on their September UK Tour.
It kicks off in Oxford on the 19th September & finishes in Manchester on the 29th. The full list if dates can be found on my gig listing page to the right…

I will be announcing all the dates for my first UK headline tour very soon so keep watching this space…

Hello everybody

Its coming to the end of July and with that brings the voting for the British Blues Awards to a close too.

The last date to vote is 31st July so if this is news to you or you havent got round to it yet and you’d like to help me out in a massive way please tell your friends and visit www.britishbluesawards.co.uk/vote.htm and vote for me in the Best Male Vocals & Best Guitar Categories it only takes a few minutes. Also my good friend and long time musical collaborator Paddy Milner is nominated for best Piano so give him a listen & then give him a vote!
